Web Penetration Testing

In a penetration test, a professional tries to break into a computer system to uncover security vulnerabilities which can afterwards be resolved.

Web penetration tests focus on the exposed perimeter of a company, namely their web server. Those can be accessed by everyone and are, thus, at greater risk than internal systems. To give you an idea, our own web server was attacked by 136 different IP addresses during the first night it came online. Hence, it is advisable to test exposed computer systems.

Power of 2 involves blue teamers (defenders) in penetration tests to assure realistic recommendations. All findings are evaluated and recapitulated in the final report.
